short story script

  Scene 1  

scene  

-starts in Aarans room with him waking up the he moves into the bathroom and gets breakfast.  

he then enters the living room and turns the tv on. 

 30 mins later  

dad asks for aaran to get some stuff out the garage 

 

DAD: aaran can you go get some stuff out the garage. There should be a box labelled gaf. And try not to break something again  

Aaran starts to mutter under his breath 

AARAN : how bout you go do it 

DAD: what was that  

AARAN: nothing  

Aaran sighs finishes his food then exits the house. We then see him walking slowly to the garage. 

He opens and enter the garage and starts to rifle through all the boxes and bags to try and find the box. Then he pulls out a weird looking book out of the same box  

AARAN: what the hell is this  

Aaran then opens the book and starts to skim over the pages  

AARAN: what a pile of rubbish  

Aaran then leaves the garage with box and leaves the book behind  

Then after aaran leaves the garage a hand grips onto the door frame. 

 

Scene 2  

INT: living room  

Aaran give his dad the box and starts asking questions about the book he was in the garage. 

AARAN: i found a weird book. Where did you get that from 

DAD: what does it look like  

AARAN: (book details) 

DAD: dont be snooping around my stuff    

AARAN: what i wasn't snooping just looking   

DAD: I don't care  

AARAN: ok ok god  

Aaran then leaves to go to his room and do some work  

 

Scene 3  

INT: Scene begins with aaran in his room. He is on his laptop doing home work  

He then gets up to get a cup of tea  

INT: in the kitchen making a tea aaran over hears a conversation that his parents are having  

DAD: we can't keep that book in the garage. It's too risky. 

MUM: I know I've been telling you for ages to get rid of it  

DAD: i know i know. I just hope he didn't open it.  

Music starts to play and aaran has a shoked face.  

Aaran hurry's back into his room and starts to research about the book he saw but only found one thing on this book. 

Aaran begins to read the little amount of information that is about this book but it is very intriguing  

AARAN: The Book of BOV is well know for its cursed potential. The curse creates a clone of you that will try to kill you and take your own life from you it orginates from Punjab India in the 1600’s. (to himself) They really believe in this stuff, like it’s 100% real. They just trying to scare me into not touching their stuff  

AARAN: The book describes the spirit as unrelates and will do anything to take what it wants. There is a article about a cloning happening of where a boy called Eesa was taken over by another entity. His atmosphere and personality completely changed but no one believed that a book could do this  

AARAN: what a lode of lies. Thats enough for one day time to go to bed  

 

 

Scene 4  

Scene begins with aaran asleep and then suddenly a loud bang is herd. Aaran wakes up startled and begins to wonder what that sound was   

15 mins pass and the loud bang is herd again. Aaran then gets up from his bed and begins to cortiously leave his room.  

AARAN: i keep telling her stop getting up in the middle of the night always wakes me up. 

Aaran then begins to walk down the hallway and starts to hear sounds coming from the kitchen. Aaran then peepes through a gap in the door and sees a knife and cuting bourd out. 

AARAN: mum must have left it out   

Aaran then starts to put all the stuff away in the draws but when he picks the knife up its warm. It felt as if someone had been holding it and using it.  

AARAN: who's been using this.  

Aaran then puts the knife bak in the draw leaves the kitchen and tries to forget about it.  

As he walks back to his room he looks up he sees a black figure in the back room. Aarann in frozen in position unable to move  

AARAN: oh my god who is that. 

After a few seconds of staring at each other aaran moves his hand and the person imitates aaran. 

Aaran then runs up stairs and tells his parents about what he saw 

 AARAN: mum dad theres some random person downstairs  

DAD: really?  let me check where did you see them 

AARAN: in the end room downstairs. 

Dad then goes down the stairs with a bat to try and find someone a. a few minutes pass and there were no sounds herd aaran then decides to go downstairs 

AARAN: i need to go downstairs  

MUM: are you sure  

AARAN: yes i have to make sure dad is ok  

MUM: ok be careful  

Aaran then slowly goes down the stairs and down the hallway down the. When aaran enters the room he sees 2 people in the corner. 

AARAN: what do you want just take what you want and leave  

The silence continuous. Then they start to move closer slow towards aaran 

AARAN: you better stop moving other wise other wise. I hit you with the lap 

 When they get close  the camera cuts we then see aaran making his way back to his parents room but something is diffrent  

MUM: was anyone there 

She asks aaran and dad
